Still on my Delta Spirit kick. Out of their songs, this isn’t the one I’d choose to have sex to. It sounds like melancholy morning drives home after it rained all night (in the spring).
On a less depressing note, a drunk guy, the merch dude, and Emma convinced me to buy a FIFTY DOLLAR poster after the show. One of 100 hand screen-printed signed-by-everybody-in-the-band posters. And the buffalo/bison? has a tophat drawn on it. When I couldn’t find it in my car the next day, I assumed one of the five drunk people in my car had tossed it into the puddley streets of Philadelphia or that the only other guy in the car who liked Delta Spirit had nabbed it when we kicked him out into the rain. I’m getting it back this week but WHO SPENDS FIFTY ON A POSTER AND THEN LOSES IT WHAT THE FUCK
This was recorded in front of a sold out audience in Union Transfer at noon on Friday. Emma and I went Friday night…now we know why he was so merry.
