Oh god I’m going to get a piece of my mole removed and checked and then what if I have cancer and then if I don’t what’s the deal with getting tattoos over surgery scars because I am not going without my damn beauty mark.
I got my first tattoo back in November, in another country. I went to visit my friend Courtney in Chicago, we took a road trip to Iowa City for football tailgate and by the end of it ended up in a Vesania Ink. We each decided to get a tattoo, done by the lovely Nikki Powills. I got roman numerals for the number 21 because it was my first legal trip to the states, I just turned 21 and my graduation ring from my mother is dated in roman numerals. And of course, any time I look at it I remember the unbelievable trip I had with three of my good friends.
more evidence of my weirdo tattoo likes.
my first tattoo. i did it a year ago at my friends house. That is my favorite motto.
why do I like all the skritchy line tattoos best?
Um, this is going to be up until morning, there is just a lot going on here that is “unf” worthy. You are very welcome. (also as K.C. pointed out, the tree line tattoo? Fission)

el farol de enamorados. first tattoo, happy she’s forever mine now (;
artist: Max Scott shop: genuine electric tattoo (sherman oaks, CA)
these are my two little california poppies, done beautifully by briana @ san diego’s amazing buju tattoo. the feminine vibe of this shop was perfect for this piece, which i knew i wanted to be both organic and whimsical.
my little sister and each got these flowers on our ribs, a reminder of our forever bond as california girls and sunshine babies. the california poppy, native to california, is unique in that it grows best in disturbed areas - roadsides and railroad tracks and patches of grass - it is forever my reminder of home and wildness and the importance of blooming in the sunlight <3
